Global Comments and Events
Global comments do not refer to a specific page content within a review, but contain general information about the review. Global events show, for example, votes and status changes of the review.
You have access to global comments and events when you reach the General tab and the right-hand sidebar is displayed. You can then view the global comments and events, create your own global comments and edit them if necessary.

You can access the following buttons via the entries in the sidebar, which you can use to search, filter and sort the entries in the bar:

Comment: You switch the display of global comments on or off.

: You can switch the display of events on or off.

: Click on one of the two clock icons to sort the comments and events in ascending and descending order by date and time. After opening the review, the oldest element is always at the top of the list of comments and events.

: Filter the comments by creator or by their mentions. Clicking on the button opens a list of all participants who have created a global comment:
Activate the checkboxes of the users whose comments and mentions you want to see. -
: Search for keywords in the comments. Hits are highlighted in yellow.

Note
If the filter is inactive, i.e. the title of the Comment tab is highlighted in white, you will not be able to write any comments. In this case, click on the tab again to make the comment input field visible.

Switch to the tab General.

Click in the text field below the entries in the right-hand sidebar and write a text.

Click on the paper plane symbol.
You have created a global comment.

Switch to the tab General.

Search for the comment you want to reply to.

Click on
in the comment. -
Enter your reply.

Click on the paper plane icon.
A text field will appear.
Your reply will be displayed below the comment.

You can mark global comments with the
function.
By default, the following labels are available to commentators in the
menu:-

Answered

Resolved

Closed
Click
on the comment and select the label you want to assign from the menu.If you are unsure how to use the labels or if you have a suggestion as to how the labels can be better adapted to your work, please contact your system administrator.

Select the new label.
The menu opens.
You have changed the category of the comment.

At the bottom of the menu, click

The menu opens.
You have removed the selection and the comment no longer has a category.
